Book
Notes, examples, sources.
One book of the Equitable Economic Stack. Each chapter is a live page. This page is the bound order.
- 01
Post the floor
A small basket of living costs is paid first, from surplus that was already named.
- 02
Mint the tranche
New units enter on one public schedule. No private window.
- 03
Walk the invoice
A named obligation. Face is paper. It is not cash at the register.
- 04
Read the tape
Title, mint, lien, conversion, and the registrar’s act. A missing line is not a privilege.
- 05
Lock the window
Discount and risk are named up front, before any residual is titled.
- 06
Run the agent
The clerk records and enforces the posted rules. It does not create new units.
- 07
Open the market
The width of the book is the data. A tight price is not invented when the book is quiet.
- 08
Read the remainder
What remains after paid first and the listed prices, including zero.
Worked invoice
A mill invoices a baker 10,000 paper units due in 30 days. Checkout quotes an 8 percent discount, so live value is 9,200 basket units. Payroll cannot bear a move to 18 percent. The mill writes a put at a 10 percent strike and pays the listed charge for that class. At due date the live discount is 14 percent. Checkout converts to 8,600. The put pays 400. Net before floor and charge: 9,000. Face was never cash.
