EGONOMIST

We invented counting to keep everyone fed, then turned the balance sheet into a battlefield.

Economics began as oikonomia—the simple, humble stewardship of a shared home. When ego took the pen, sharing became scoring, and counting became conquest. The math never shed a drop of blood; it is only the pride behind the balance sheet that demands a sacrifice.

AI, DLT & human agency

Beyond the Extraction Machine: Restoring Human Agency with AI & DLT

Modern economic platforms run on a perverse arithmetic: the cost of trust exceeds the value of ordinary community life. Helping a neighbor, care work, or local micro-collaboration gets left off the balance sheet simply because banking rails, platform rent-extractors, and administrative friction eat the margin.

Meanwhile, AI threatens to hypercharge this extraction. Unchecked, corporate models become predatory fiduciary adversaries—optimizing engagement algorithms to commodify human attention and autonomy.

Pairing artificial intelligence with Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) offers a radical exit: turning algorithmic coordination into an infrastructure for human self-determination.

The Symbiosis: Mind & Tape

AI and DLT solve each other's foundational vulnerabilities:

  • DLT provides the ungameable tape: Cryptographic provenance, strict timestamp ordering, zero-knowledge proofs, and public verification strip out the middleman's toll booth. It prevents silent platform revision, rent extraction, and monetary debasement.
  • AI provides the cognitive coordination layer: Autonomous, localized personal agents discover latent mutual needs, calculate multidimensional barter paths, and automate friction-heavy accounting without demanding that humans act like bureaucrats.

Instead of human life being shoehorned into fiat metrics or speculative tokens, AI coordinates multilateral trade, while DLT provides an incorruptible public receipt.

Constitutional Software: lgme.app & egonomicanonymous.live

This design is the lived focus of lgme.app and egonomicanonymous.live, built on the Sovereign Provenance Protocol (SPP). Rather than creating another speculative casino token, the project approaches political economy as constitutional software engineering.

Three foundational shifts stand out:

1. Provenance Over Speculation

Using the Hedera Consensus Service (HCS), transactions and agreements are stamped into an immutable audit stream for a fraction of a cent ($0.0001). This decouples work verification from speculative token pumps. You ledger the reality of an act—not speculative platform points.

2. Floor Seniority

Under the operational principles of egonomicanonymous.live, living essentials and baseline communal commitments clear first from named surplus before any speculative claims or secondary yields compute. Basic human stability is hardcoded as an operational invariant, not an afterthought.

3. The "Third Seat": Programmatic Refusal

The human participant is neither an ad target nor an automated liquidity pool; they retain sovereign agency via the Third Seat. Any automated action, opaque algorithmic fee, or structural bypass can be met with an immutable, cryptographically recorded NO. Agency is protected at the execution layer.

The Hurdle: Translating Philosophy into Habit

The technical mechanics are sound, but the immediate friction lies in cognitive load and social adoption:

  • Accessibility: The framework's philosophical depth (drawing on Schelling’s egonomics, cybernetics, and moral economy) must feel effortless in everyday use. Constitutional safety checks must be as friction-free as a tap-to-pay terminal.
  • The Real-World Oracle: Cryptography can easily prove compute logs, but verifying offline physical labor without intrusive surveillance requires dense, localized networks of trust.

Yet the core thesis is inescapable: if we do not build public ledger tapes and fiduciary personal AI to guard our economic baseline, centralized platforms will continue to monetize our agency out from under us.

Glossary

Plain names. Each line is the same rule, said without the securities word.

  1. 01

    Paid first (Floor)

    was Floor

Paid first from surplus already named, before any later claim. Also: Food, rent, and the bus, paid first.

  2. 02

    Public schedule (Mint)

    was Mint

New units enter on one public schedule. No private sale and no private allocation. Also: Same schedule for everyone. No private drop.

  3. 03

    Named bill (Issue)

    was Issue

A named obligation assigned to a person. It is not cash, and it does not clear at the register. Also: A bill. Not cash in the app.

  4. 04

    Audit trail

    was Tape

The record that must show title, issuance, lien, conversion, and the registrar’s act. Also: The receipt everyone can open.

  5. 05

    Risk-adjusted fee

    was Charge

Discount and risk are named up front, before any residual value is titled. Also: Same price. No VIP.

  6. 06

    Registrar

    was Agent

Records and enforces the posted rules. Does not create new units. Also: The app can explain. It cannot tap pay.

  7. 07

    What's left (Thin)

    was Thin

The width of the book is the data. A tight price is not invented when the book is quiet. Also: A wide number is the honest price.

  8. 08

    Residual value

    was Desert

What remains after paid first and the listed prices. Titled even when the figure is zero. Also: What's left. Even if it's nothing.
